Playing catch up

We've had a very busy week in our house - we took our first big family trip last week!  More on that later.  For now, here are some fun photos of Hannah from the past two weeks...enjoy!

Look who's two months old!

Miss Hannah is two months old today!  It was tougher to get good pictures this month because she's so wiggly - but that also makes her more fun to play with :)  She smiles at us regularly now, and I have to say, I think it is a precious little grin!  For comparison, check out her one month pictures and her newborn pictures.

2 month check up

Today we went to see our favorite pediatrician for Hannah's two month check up (official two month photos coming Thursday!) and she did great!  She had to get three shots, so of course we were nervous, but she took them like a champ - some crying on the table while it was happening, but calmed right down as soon as I picked her up.  The nurse was super impressed and Mom and Dad were so proud!  Hannah is proving to be one tough cookie :)

She weighed in at 13 lbs 13.5 oz (94 percentile), measured 23.75 inches tall (95 percentile) and her head is a whopping 16.26 inches (100 percentile!).  We knew she couldn't escape Mom and Dad's giant head genes :)

Hannah Banana is seven weeks old already!  This past week has seen the start of spring and lots of smiles :)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the Heacocks!  Miss Hannah got all dressed up for her first trip to church to celebrate our Lord's resurrection.  She slept like an angel through the whole service - we told the pastor not to take it personally :)  After church, we dyed Easter eggs, which will probably be a lot more fun for everyone next year...

Hannah's first track meet

This was a big weekend for mom and baby alike - we ventured out to our first track meet!  We had great weather on Saturday with plenty of sunshine, so I loaded up the car and we hit the road.  And I really did load the car - diaper bag, purse, camp chair, and two strollers (juuuuust in case she had a preference).

I think she enjoyed being outside because she slept the whole time!
