Our first vacation

Last week we took our first family vacation - Alex was recruiting at a track meet where I also happen to have some family, so we loaded up the car and hit the road for a visit.  I was nervous about the long drive - Hannah doesn't love the car - but she was a trooper!  We had so much fun visiting my cousins and their fantastic kids.  At one point, we had all seven kiddos together - 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 10mo, and 2 mo.  It was a busy house!

Not sure why Hannah's head look gigantic here, but Ben was so sweet to snuggle with her!

Surrounded by boys playing games on their parents iPad/iPhone

Ben and Matty were so much fun to hang out with!

Haley got to hold the baby (who only cried the second the camera came out, I swear) - she'll be a great baby sitter  before we know it!

Playing catch up

We've had a very busy week in our house - we took our first big family trip last week!  More on that later.  For now, here are some fun photos of Hannah from the past two weeks...enjoy!

Double fisting - literally

Being a big brother is a lot of work!

So many smiles these days!

Our first family photo in awhile - out at a track meet of course!

Doing tummy time the only way she'll allow - suspended in the air on my shins

The shirt says it all

This is a new face - the pout

Mom and baby snuggles :)

Look who's two months old!

Miss Hannah is two months old today!  It was tougher to get good pictures this month because she's so wiggly - but that also makes her more fun to play with :)  She smiles at us regularly now, and I have to say, I think it is a precious little grin!  For comparison, check out her one month pictures and her newborn pictures.

Little angel face

Enjoying some quality play time!

"Um I'm not so sure about this furry thing..."

Our sweet girl and her giant cheeks!

She decided she liked the bear after all :)

2 month check up

Today we went to see our favorite pediatrician for Hannah's two month check up (official two month photos coming Thursday!) and she did great!  She had to get three shots, so of course we were nervous, but she took them like a champ - some crying on the table while it was happening, but calmed right down as soon as I picked her up.  The nurse was super impressed and Mom and Dad were so proud!  Hannah is proving to be one tough cookie :)

She weighed in at 13 lbs 13.5 oz (94 percentile), measured 23.75 inches tall (95 percentile) and her head is a whopping 16.26 inches (100 percentile!).  We knew she couldn't escape Mom and Dad's giant head genes :)

Leonidas found a new hiding spot - under Hannah's dresser.

Going for a stroll around the neighborhood!

Giggling while Dad sings to her :)

Taking a trip to CW to enjoy the spring weather

"Put the camera down, woman - I'm trying to nap here."

Love that smile and those cheeks!

Spring and smiles

Hannah Banana is seven weeks old already!  This past week has seen the start of spring and lots of smiles :)

Sleeping...and also doing the tango...

I like smiling!

I'm not sure about this whole grocery store idea...

Check out those cheeks!

Looking pretty for church

Smiling's my favorite!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the Heacocks!  Miss Hannah got all dressed up for her first trip to church to celebrate our Lord's resurrection.  She slept like an angel through the whole service - we told the pastor not to take it personally :)  After church, we dyed Easter eggs, which will probably be a lot more fun for everyone next year...

Waking her up from a nap was our first mistake...

She was super excited mad about dropping the egg in the mug.

It was a really enjoyable dramatic experience for everyone :)

At least the egg landed in the right spot...

Egg dying was super fun exhausting!

Hannah's first track meet

This was a big weekend for mom and baby alike - we ventured out to our first track meet!  We had great weather on Saturday with plenty of sunshine, so I loaded up the car and we hit the road.  And I really did load the car - diaper bag, purse, camp chair, and two strollers (juuuuust in case she had a preference).

I think she enjoyed being outside because she slept the whole time!
