At six months old, I find the word most often used to describe our girl is happy. She is a very happy baby. And it's not just people who may have a bias that notice this trait, namely her parents and grandparents (although we all say it too!). I really do hear it a lot - from the nurse at the pediatrician's office, to the woman at the deli counter, to people who sit near us in church. Everyone comments on how happy she is.
That's not to say she doesn't have her tough moments - every baby (and grown up) does - but generally, she is happy. Of course, this make me very happy :) Even when she's not outright smiling, I like to think I can still see joy in her eyes...
Here's hoping this happiness last through her teenage years!
