Practice makes perfect

I still feed Hannah all of her baby food with a spoon - although she loves to hold the spoon, she also loves to fling it around, throw it on the floor, and bang it on her tray.  I have my doubts that she would actually get any real food in her mouth, except by chance as she laughed at the mess she was making.  Leonidas would get more food off the floor than she would in her mouth.

However, feeding oneself and chewing one's food are important life skills.  So, we have started giving Hannah a few "puffs" to practice with.  They are basically less dense, star-shaped, flavored Cheerios.  She's really getting the hang of it!
