Hannah turns 2!

We had another major family milestone just 9 days after Sarah was born - Hannah turned 2!  It's hard to believe this hilarious little girl is already two years old...and yet, I barely remember our life before she was in it.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Hannah's birthday - a big party with both set of grandparents, lots of little friends (and big ones too), and a penguin cake!  Hannah's penguin (Peng) has become a fixture in our lives these days, and she loved having a cake with his picture on it!

Hannah Laverne, you really are our sunshine.  You bring so much joy and laughter to our family and we are so proud of the big girl you're becoming.  Your mommy and daddy are crazy about you girl - don't ever forget it.

She's such a big girl these days, with so much to say and a great imagination...and yet pictures like this remind me of her baby days, which weren't so long ago.  Oh, and hi Peng :)

And so many friends!!  Hannah is the oldest of the bunch, which means all of these little ones have joined our lives in just two years!  Wow!!

And then the real fun began...cake...with a fork...smock bib definitely required.

It was a morning party, so we also had cake pops for those who couldn't manage a full piece of cake before lunch.  Clearly Hannah doesn't have that problem...she had both cake and a cake pop.
